Did you know?
Over the past three years in Arizona, there have been nearly 270 domestic violence-related fatalities; a tragic reflection of how deadly abuse can become when victims have few safe options to escape. Research shows that economic control or financial isolation (such as limiting access to income, housing, transportation, or credit) is a common tactic used by abusers and a key barrier that traps victims in dangerous situations.
How You Can Help
iJourney Foundation is seeking compassionate partners and professionals who want to make a meaningful difference. We are currently looking for licensed and certified counselors, preferably with group counseling experience, who are passionate about trauma-informed care. We also welcome employers and workforce partners willing to provide job placement opportunities for survivors as they rebuild stability and independence.
Additional support we value includes mentors, life-skills educators, legal and advocacy professionals, housing and recovery partners, and community volunteers who share our commitment to safety, dignity, and long-term healing. Please email changemakers@ijourneyfoundation.org for more information and to get started.
Every contribution of time, expertise, or opportunity helps create pathways forward for those we serve.
